Vista Care is a leading service and support organization serving over 850 individuals throughout Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, and Wisconsin. Vista Care Direct is the self-directed Fiscal Employer agent extension of Vista Care. Vista Care Direct is committed to delivering exceptional care that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
What We Do
Our mission is to “serve more people better, while keeping them in our hearts and actions at all times.” Our dedicated team members are committed to delivering exceptional support to the people we serve in whatever way works best for them to be in charge of their needs and goals. We believe that no two people are alike, and because of that, no two care plans are alike. At Vista Care Direct, once you have chosen your employee(s), we focus on partnering with you to provide the administrative and payroll services to allow you to focus on your employee(s) supporting you and your needs.
Once you’ve chosen self-direction and have selected your employee(s), we partner with you on all the administrative and payroll services to ensure you can stay in your home and meet your budget.
Our local teams and easy-to-use software make managing your employee(s) and the services you need much easier, so you can get back to living, while we handle the paperwork!
We Can Support You By:
- Ensuring all employee and employer paperwork is completed
- Processing your employee’s timesheets
- Running payroll for your employees
- Coordinating any direct deposit needs for your employees
- Filing federal and state taxes and managing W2s
- Collaborating with your support team to make sure your needs are met

Who We Work With
At Vista Care Direct, we work closely with the State Medicaid programs, such as Managed Care Organizations and IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct). After you meet with your Case Manager and identify the services/supports you need, you have an option to self-direct many of those services. That is where Vista Care Direct is here to assist you by partnering with you as your Fiscal Employer Agent. We are here to help! We’re ready to take care of the paperwork and payroll so you can get back to living!
We support all kinds of people like:
- Adults with disabilities who want more independence
- Older adults who want to stay in their homes as they age
- Families with children who have disabilities who are growing into adulthood
- Anyone on Medicaid that would like to self-direct their supports
